Hello all. I am new to this board and enjoyed looking over your posts this morning. I am experiencing truly the darkest time of my life and am searching for some type of comfort. Please pray for me and my husband as we work through a separation. He is a non believer. Bless you all and thank you.

Hello,
" Blessed are they who mourn for they shall be comforted." Believe that God is ready and waiting to comfort you because He is..." I will never leave you or forsake you."
Charles Spurgeon once said: " the Lord gets His best soldiers out of the highlands of affliction." Cast all your burdens upon the Lord for He cares for you.
God Bless and I've prayed for you .

Hi Primne,

You defiantly have my prayers.

A friend and I were just talking about how difficult and confusing life can be even when we are walking with God.

He mentioned the footsteps Poem where a person had the dream about the footprints on the sand and looked back and much of their life there was only one set of footprints and they wondered where God was in their life so they asked God where He was in their difficult times and God replied that the footprints were His footprints as He carries us through lifes difficult moments.

To me it also seems like some of Christianity is like the shipwreck that the Apostle Paul experienced in Acts Chapter 27 and part of 28. We prayerfully make the best decisions that we can about our life but sometimes we find ourselves on a storm tossed ship that is breaking apart and sinking and every effort we have seems to be of no use but in the end God gives us the grace and the strength to survive the storms of life and safely make it to shore any way that we can get there.

I know that through it all God Himself has promised that He will never leave us or forsake us :o).

Hebrews 13:5,6 .. for He (God) hath said, I will never leave thee or forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I shall not fear what man shall do unto me.

Keep up the good faith!

Your Brother in Jesus,

David

I can so relate. My husband and I are still together, but it can be so flustrating trying to live a Christ pleasing life with a non-believer in the house. One verse that has had a comforting effect on me is Joshua 23:6 "Be ye therefore very Courageous." It goes on , but just that begining phrase reminds me that I am to be strong and do what is right no matter what. Sometimes those little battles just become too much to bear.

Hi Kowgal,

Thanks for the very good insight.

Also, thank you for quoting the Bible in your post. It really shows Christian maturity to comfort anther directly from Gods word.

Ill defiantly pray for you and your family. We should all be praying for one another anyhow.

God Bless You,

Your Brother in Jesus,

David

Thank you all for the kind words, they were such a comfort. I'm hanging on; good days and bad day. Remember me in your prayers as I'm remembering you. God Bless you all.
